The Star Wars Force Awakens XBOX One app was a promotional app to support the in home release of the movie. The app featured promotional and exclusive videos, a trivia game with a friends leaderboard and CTA’s to drive to purchase of the movie from the Microsoft Store.

The App was developed in partnership with Microsoft and a third party app developer. I was the Product Manager working with Microsoft and the Vendor to design, implement and deploy the app and its supporting services, this included the XBOX One App certification process. Supporting services were built and hosted on Microsoft Azure’s cloud platform.

The app received hundreds of thousands of downloads and help drive revenue for the Studio through electronic movie sales.
